- Review the microanatomy of the eyelid skin and ocular surface
- Define histopathologic processes and conditions of the ocular surface including tumor, neoplasia, dysplasia and anaplasia
- Discuss the the basics principles of oncogenesis, diagnostic approaches to neoplastic disease and the approach to management of these conditions

Describe the epidemiology, causes, characteristics and management of neoplastic disorders including
- Epithelial cysts
- Benign, pre-invasive and malignant epithelial tumors
- Glandular tumors of the conjunctiva
- Neuroectodermal tumors
- Vascular and mesenchymal tumors
- Lymphatic and lymphocytic tumors
- Metastatic tumors
- Epibulbar choristomas
