UPMC Eye Center Grand Rounds - Guest Speaker - James Walsh, MD, PhD. “I’m Melting: PUK from the Uveitis Perspective”

Dr. Walsh is a Clinical Instructor in Uveitis, Washington University Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science. Dr. Walsh did his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill where he received degrees in chemistry and mathematics.  While applying to medical school, he was a post baccalaureate scholar NIH in the National Institutes of Mental Health, Lee Eiden Lab.  He went on to obtain his MD and PhD at the University of Virginia.          Dr. Walsh then did a Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Diego.  At the completion of his Residency, he went on to a Fellowship in Uveitis at Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University.
