Goals & Objectives: At the conclusion of this session the resident should have a basic understanding of the principles of corneal transplant surgery and should be able to place 12 equally sized, equally spaced radial sutures using 10-0 nylon suture.

Reading Assignment: Please read the attached chapters on wound closure and corneal suturing.
