Dr. Jackson is a Professor of Pharmacology and Medicine and the Associate Director, Center for Clinical Pharmacology at Pitt. He has a BS from the University of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy, a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Texas, and had a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Jackson is a senior experienced clinical pharmacologist in renal and cardiovascular pharmacology. He is Associate Director of the Center for Clinical Pharmacology and directs its laboratory resources in genetics, mass spectrometry, cell culture and animal physiology. His very highly active research program networks within the institution and between multiple institutions.
