Objectives: During this conference the resident will gain experience critically evaluating clinical studies and determining their applicability to one’s own patients. At the conclusion of this conference the resident should be able to 

• summarize the main conclusions from the TVT study
• summarize the main conclusions from EGPS
• discuss how flaws in study design can impact outcome
