This four-part series focuses on building the framework, developing skills, and creating a plan to become an antiracist ophthalmologist both at an individual and institutional level. In this course, we will cover the history of anti-Black racism in medicine and it's continuing effects today, we will closely examine power privilege and unconscious bias in the clinic, we will identify areas for growth in our department, and ultimately, we will develop a concrete plan to reduce anti-Black racism from ophthalmology.
