Michael Klaper is graduated from the Univ. of Illinois College of Medicine in 1972. He went on to training in surgery, anesthesiology, and orthopedics in Vancouver. Soon he realized that many of his patients' diseases could be made worse or caused by their high sugar, high fat, high salt, overly processed, and animal-based diet. His career took a turn toward focusing on nutrition and acute care/internal medicine.
