Robert Henderson, B.Sc. (Hons), MB BS, MD, FRCOphth, will present, "'What Not to Miss in Paediatric Retina'", at the UPMC Eye Center on Friday, June 28th, 2013 at 7am in the BST S120.
Dr. Henderson is currently a Fellow in the Vitreoretinal Department at Moorfields Eye Hospital, having completed a Vitreoretinal Fellowship at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear, Melbourne, Australia and a Paediatric Fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children ("Sick Kids"), Toronto, Canada. His interest in paediatrics stemmed from his earliest ophthalmology experiences working at the Great Ormond Street Hospital, and then subsequently during his MD research. It remains one of is long term aims to be a part of therapeutic trials and surgeires for the treatment of inherited retinal disease, as well as developing expertise in the management and treatment of paediatric vitreo-retinal conditions.
