Comprehensive - University of Vermont
Dear Program Directors and Coordinators,

The University of Vermont and its academic medical center, Fletcher Allen Health Care, has an outstanding opportunity for a comprehensive ophthalmologist in our Central Vermont office in the capital city region.  This person would be located in a brand new, well equipped facility and would work with three experienced, collegial ophthalmologists.  This office is a partner group to the University group in Burlington Vermont where we have two retinal specialists, a comprehensive ophthalmologist, a corneal specialist, an oculoplastics specialist, a glaucoma specialist and a neuro-ophthalmologist.  The position carries the rank of Assistant Professor in a non-tenure clinical track, so research and teaching would be encouraged.  This is a superior opportunity to join a cohesive set of partners and participate in the care of interesting and challenging problems in a group setting.  Our patients are pleasant and appreciative.

Vermont is a wonderful place to live.  Four seasons of recreational activities are plentifully available.  Our communities are vibrant and progressive with excellent public educational programs.

Interested applicants should send a copy of their CV, a letter of interest* and a list of three individuals who can provide references by mail to Jeanne M. Jackson, Department of Surgery - 267FL4, University of Vermont, 111 Colchester Avenue, Burlington, VT 05401 or via e-mail to jeanne.jackson@vtmednet.org.  Candidates may also apply on-line at https:///www.uvmjobs.com.

Please post this letter in a place where your residents can peruse it. We would also appreciate it if you could circulate this information at a meeting of your residents and fellows.

Sincerely,

Jeanne M. Jackson
